Review Policy

Reviews are left by buyers after a transaction is marked as delivered. Each transaction allows one review. Reviews include a star rating (1-5) and an optional written comment. Reviews are public and visible on the seller's profile.

We believe honest feedback makes the marketplace better for everyone. We will never remove a review simply because it is negative.

Buyers have the right to share their honest experience. This includes:

• Low star ratings, with or without a comment
• Criticism of packaging, shipping speed, item condition, or communication
• Descriptions of problems with the transaction
• Opinions about value or pricing

These are legitimate experiences and will not be removed, even if the seller disagrees.

We will remove a review if it violates one of the following policies. Removal requires evidence and is reviewed by our team.

Harassment or prohibited content. Reviews containing slurs, personal attacks, threats, discriminatory language, or sexually explicit content.

Retaliation. A review written to punish someone for the outcome of a dispute, not to describe the transaction experience. We review the full message and dispute history to determine intent.

Extortion. A review connected to threats made in messages, such as demanding a refund, free items, or other compensation in exchange for a positive review or removal of a negative one.

Unrelated to the transaction. Complaints about platform fees, shipping carrier delays, customs processing, or other factors outside the seller's control. Reviews should reflect the seller's actions, not external circumstances.

Factually false. Claims that are directly contradicted by evidence in the transaction record, such as shipment tracking, delivery confirmation, dispute evidence photos, or message history.

If you believe a review on your profile violates this policy, contact us at contact@amethyst.market with:

• Your username
• A link to or description of the review
• Which policy you believe was violated
• Any relevant context

We will review the transaction record, including messages, dispute evidence, and shipment proofs. Both parties will be notified of the outcome.

The review and its star rating are removed from the seller's profile. The reviewer is notified that their review was removed and told which policy it violated. Repeated violations may result in restrictions on the reviewer's account.
